Posted by: Sarah Thomson, 31st July 2006 09:00AM

We have just held our first 2 day summer festival and it went really well.  we have a good number of local anglers plus loads from away.  We now have a great set of people who are our Festival regulars and it was great to see them all again.  Many thanks to those local anglers that supported the event.  Well done to Mick Bartram and Jim Randell who were top locals on the event and came second and third overall.  The full write up and photos can be viewed by clicking here.

KHV Outbreaks

Posted by: Sarah Thomson, 13th July 2006 09:00AM

Given the current KHV outbreaks we are putting warning signs around the fishery to ensure that all anglers ensure they COMPLETELY dry their keepnets and landing nets between fishing trips.  All virus' and bacteria and most parasites die on a dry host.  This is part of our Match rules and is best practice for anglers.  Please make sure you do your bit in conservering fish stocks.  Further information is available on the news section on the Professional Course Fisheries Association website on www.pcfa.co.uk
