Welcome to Barford Lakes Website

Based on the outskirts of Norwich in Norfolk, we provide an impressive range of fishing across the four venues we manage. We have a total of 8 well stocked lakes holding a good variety of fish, including Carp, Tench, Bream, Chub, Crucian Carp, Golden Tench and Orfe, Roach, Rudd and Perch. Also on site we have excellent facilities including car parking, toilet block, and our fully stocked tackle shop.

For anglers of all abilities we offer some of the best fishing lakes in Norfolk and with additional lakes opening in 2007/2008 we will have something to suit everyone from the casual angler through to the specimen specialist.

This Weekend Open Matches

Railway is solid with ice so the open match on the 4th Feb will be fished at Barford on the Pleasure Lake and Top Lake.   The draw will be 9am with fishng from 10am till 3pm.

Sunday 5th Feb Teams of 5 Winter League  is cancelled, but Daniel will run an open match on Willow and the Pleasure Lake. Draw at Barford will be 9am, please call to book in on 01603 759624.

Thursday 2nd Feb and Matches this Weekend

Well the ice is finally here, it's been relatively kind to us so far I suppose! 

Thursday 2nd Feb open match is on Barford Pleasure Lake, which we should be able to keep ice free.

We will know more on Friday about the weekend.  But if Railway is frozen on Saturday we will move the open to Barford - please call 01603 759624 to book in and make sure you leave your contact teleohone number.

A decision will be made on Friday with regards to the Teams of 5 League matchon Sunday.

Open Matches Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays

This Thursday 12th January the open match will be on the Pleasure Lake.  Draw at 9am with fishing from 10am - 3pm.

Thursday 19th January will be at Railway Lake and Thursday 26th January will be on Willow Lake.  Venues to be decided there after.

Tuesday Silver Fish matches continue on the Pleasure Lake - drawing at 9am with fishing from 10am - 3pm.

Saturday Open Matches are now on Railway until the end of March (some weeks with an option to use Willow Lake also).
