Unfortunately we have not been chosen to hold a Maver Match This Qualifier in 2012.
We had below national average attendances at our qualifiers so
commercial decisions had to be made by Maver and East Anglia didn't get a
qualifier.
The nearest venues to Norfolk are Monk Lakes in Kent, Wold View,in Lincs or Makins Fisheries. All over 100 miles away.

This competition will grow as the years progress. The feedback from the anglers who attended the final was very positive indeed. The weekend was certainly one to remember
Tickets are still available for the Maver Match This qualifier held on our waters on Sunday 19th June.
Anglers will be spread over the Pleasure Lake and Match Lake at Barford. If ticket sales increase to 40+ anglers then we shall make a bit of room and put a 10 peg section on Willow Lake.
Although the ticket price is £50 you have the chance of qualifying for the Maver Mtch This Final on Saturday 20th August and fish for £50,000! Second place qualifies for an addtional £5000 match on the same day. Also the top 5 anglers will qualify for the UK Pole Champs held the weekend before the final!
Please note there is NO catering van here on Sunday.

After a few years of being unsuccessful in gaining entry to FishOMania, local angler Warren Martin (Anglers World) won the Maver Match This qualifier held on Saturday 23rd April.
The last chance to buy tickets for the Maver Match This £50,000 qualifier is midnight Thursday..
The match this Saturday 23rd April will be fshed on Barford Match Lake and Colton Lake, and possibly the Pleasure Lake if needed.

They cost £50 and the pools on the day are optional and £20.
Please note we do not have catering on site (unfortunately we need more numbers to get a van in). We do though have rolls and sausage rolls in the tackle shop.
Also the Top 5 anglers will qualify for the British Pole Champs.
We now have paper entry forms available at the tackle shop for entry to the Maver Match This event. The closing date is 7 days before the match date - so not long to get your tickets for the first match on Saturday 23rd April.
