On our Open & Events list for 2008 we have set up an Accumulator League which has been kindly sponsored by Fox Match.

On events marked with an * anglers will automatically have their result added into an accumulator league. At the end of the year the top 2 anglers with the most accumulative points (on weight in case of draw) will win tackle prizes. Top angler of the year will receive a new MSB Fox Match box and 2nd place will receive a set of Fox Match Elite Luggage.
1st place in a 25 peg match would give you 25 points, 3rd place in an 20 peg match would give 18 points etc. When more than one lake is used for an event the points will be awarded to each individual lake (for example 40 anglers fishing the Match Lake & Colton = 20 points for a win at Colton and 20 points for a win on the Match Lake etc).
There will be additional bonus points, which will be awarded when an event has more than 40 anglers and will be given to the top four anglers on the day as follows: 1st 20 points, 2nd 15 points, 3rd 10 points and 4th 5 points.
The Charity Match on Sunday 23rd March was the first of these events and the results table is below.
