With nearly a full turnout the event was well supported. Jim Barrowman in 'Picasso' style drew peg 23 on the Match Lake which was inevitably the area that the fish were!! Jim caught 58lb 6ozs of carp from peg 23 - a clear 20lb above anyone else on the lake. His partner Glen Burden (not letting the side down) drew peg 31 on the Pleasure Lake and came second in section with 8lb 12ozs of silvers.
2nd - 4th placed pairs all drew on 6 points with weight deciding the placings, with just over a pound between 2nd and 3rd.
