Maver Pairs Qualifier went fairly and we were pleased to see two venue regulars go through along with a pair who had qualified on our lakes before. It was our first major match this year and we were quite pleased with the results.
Jim Barrowman was on Railway and he caught on the groundbait/pellet feeder with a banded 6mm pellet to the island and up in the water - 2 - 4' deep at 14mts on the pole and his partner Stu Bracey caught on the match lake mid-water on banded pellet on the pole and down the edge on corn.
Simon and Danny caught on a mixture of pellet waggler and pole down the edge.
