A great turn out for a really good cause.  46 people fished this Charity Match in aid of Prostate Cancer UK.  Thanks to the generosity of all involved the match raised £660!

We had some great prizes donated and anglers were generous, the raffle raised over £300!  Paul Mitchel's awesome lemon drizzel and choclate cakes raised £20 and big thanks to the Lacon's Angling club who fished the Top Lake, they not only bought raffle tickets, helped weigh in (cheers Phil!) but also had a whip round and donated £24!).  

Huge thanks for the support from Mike at MAP, Ian at SonuBaits , Brad at Pallatrax , and the guys at Frenzee and  Old Ghost who all gave generously for the event and made the raffle possible.

 The top three from each lake are below.  We paid out Lake winners (and 1st and 2nd in the super pool) and two section winners.

Matt Wiles worked hard to keep the fish going at Willow.  He started fishing on the bottom at 13ms on pellet then caught a few shallow onthe waggler.  He also had a few ont he pellet feeder and then had about 30lb in the last 45mins on short pole fishing with meat.  The bulk of his weight came to feeder and the short meat line.

In the most winter like conditions 53 brave souls turned out on Easter Sunday for the South Broads RNLI Charity Match.

Thanks to all the kind donations for the raffle which raised £160.  The final total of money raised for this worthy cause was £537.60.  Well done to all those involved.

The event was won by the very much in-form Warren Martin with the pellet waggler.  He drew the causeway on the Pleasure Lake and caught 197lb of fish!  Warren (pictured below) has fished each day of the weekend for the last two weeks and has won 4 matches out of four - one of which breaking a lake record!!

This charity match will be held on Barford Match, Pleasure, Top and Colton Lakes and will help raise funds for the RNLI.

Draw at Barford at 9.30am

Fishing 11am - 4pm.

Tickets (peg fee and charity donation) are £10.

An optional pool of £5 will be run on the day along with an optional Super pool of £10.
