This year's festival is on Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd September 2007 and will be fished on Barford Match Lake and Colton Lake.
Entry is £50 with an optional Pit Pool of £5 each day.
Payouts are based on 40 anglers and will be altered accordingly if less or more fish.
Overall Payouts = 1st £500, 2nd £300, 3rd £160, 4th £100 and 5th £80.
There will be 8 sections of 10 (£40) paid by default (2 sections each lake / 2days).
Overall winners can collect pit pool but do not collect section payouts.
Draw at Barford on Saturday 1st Sept at 9.30am fishing 11am - 4pm. The draw on Sunday 2nd Sept is at venue (Barford or Colton) at 9.30am, fishing 11am - 4pm.

26 anglers fished this year and it kicked off on Railway Lake for the first day which unfortunately fished quite hard. The head wind was a problem for most apart from those anglers pegged on the productive 40’s.
Top weight on the day was from Nathan Watson (Middy) who had 127lb 15ozs from peg 44. He fished a banded, hair rigged 4mm pellet on an size 18 hook at 13 – 14mts and fed little and often with 4mm Barford pellet.
The next highest weight was Dave Reeve (Carp Vada) who was on peg 48 and had 48lb 11ozs.
This was a section based open (5 peg sections of £65 each and £100 for the top weight on the day) and the section winners on Day 1 were:

Day Two was fished on Willow and Barford Match Lake. As Nathan went into day 2 with such a good weight – anglers were fishing for 2nd and 3rd place!
Nathan had the last peg in the bag and still managed to get a good one (9 on the favoured Match Lake)! Nathan won again with a weight that was more than the rest of the field caught in two days!! He fished three different methods to get the top weight on the day. Starting off on a pellet waggler again with banded, hair rigged pellet at about 30 metres. He switched between that and a straight bomb on the same line. With an hour to go he went on to paste on the bottom at 5mts.
