It is with regret that unfortunately we will not be holding the 5 Day festival next year. We have had a particularly tough year this year as you may have seen with the KHV outbreak.
Although we do have re-stocking plans for next year it will be limited until autumn 2010.
The lakes are holding up well at the moment and there are some things we can do to address the stocking issues this winter. We don't though feel the lakes will be up to the standard that would take the pressure of a 5 day festival.
In short I don't wish to put the surviving fish under that pressure and I also don't want to take your hard earned cash and not provide the high class sport that you would expect from our waters.
I apologise to all anglers hoping to come along and hope you will be keen to return to a "back on form" Barford 5 Day Festival in 2011.
