Thank you to everyone who attended for the support, everyone had a great time with some good catches overall.

congratulations to the winners and the top five were 

1st     Simon Ashton     8 points      total weight 388lb

2nd    Mark McGary     10 points    total weight 456lb

3rd    Della Pearson     11 points    total weight  464lb

Evening Matches start this Wednesday 30th May

The Evening Match series start Wednesday 31st May.  The draw is at 5.30pm and fishing from 6pm - 9pm.  The matches will be every Wednesday on either the Match Lake or Colton.  A flyer with next dates to follow.

There are 6 matches in the series and the cost is £10.  There is an optional league with the best 4 out of 6 results counting (additional £10) 

Booking is essential on 01603 759624.

Burgers will be available from 5pm - please pre order

Congratulations to Barford Tackle/Cresta/Bartles angler Zak Worby who won overall with a perfect point score, winning the lake on both days. 

Zak caught fish fish to 16lb on the method feeder to the far bank on peg 46, with micor Barford pellet around the feeder and a Ringers wafter as hookbait and switching to a 6mm and 8mm pellet when bites dried up. 

Day 2 was peg 19 and fished method feeder to far bank with micros round the feeder and a wafter (washout orange) on the hook.  With a few down the egdge later on with dead maggot over groundbait.

We will upload who's fishing with who on what days shortly.  But here are the section draws for this week's festival.

All the draws are at 9.30am at Barford with fishing from 11am - 4pm.  The cafe will be serving breakfast from 7.30am.  Not long now!!!!
